Bulimia ? is an emotional disorder characterized by compulsive over-eating followed by behaviours like self-induced vomiting, laxatives, diuretics, fasting and excessive exercise to avoid weight gain. A bulimic?s self-esteem is heavily dependent on body weight and body image.
