Energy crisis and environmental protection have become the important research topic of the world. For the realization of the national sustainable development, the industrial countries of the world are actively studying the development of new energy and energy conservation and environmental products. In this thesis, port crane Industry as the high energy consumption industry, proposed the development direction of efficient, green. Given the successful application in automotive industry, the hybrid power system is also used more extensive in the lifting machinery. This thesis studies the DC-90KW hybrid power wheeled crane system based on super-capacitor which researched by Wuhan University of Technology. Analysis the overall composition of system and the principle of each module, on this basis establish the mathematical model of each module and use SABER simulation software to build simulation models of each module. Simulate typical operating conditions of the system and optimize the system control strategy continuously in order to achieve greater energy-saving effect.The thesis first analyzes the background of energy crisis and sustainable development, describes the typical structure and the corresponding control strategy for hybrid power systems, and then briefly introduces the development of hybrid technology in the automotive industry and the crane industry, and the development of simulation technology.Secondly, briefly introduces system components and control system components of the DC-90KW hybrid power wheeled crane system based on super-capacitor, Analysis the technical parameters of the system power components, including super capacitor, diesel generator sets and work drive motors; and briefly describes the system?s control strategy, including system overall control strategy, super capacitor control strategy and diesel generator sets control strategy.Then from the perspective of simulation, on this basis of analysis the composition and work principle of each module, to establish the mathematical model of each module by reasonable simplify, and use the MAST language in SABER simulation software to build simulation mode of each modules, including the diesel engine model, the super capacitor model, bi-directional DC/DC converter model, the H-bridge chopper model, excited DC motor model.Finally, The thesis integrate each module of the system to build the hybrid crane system simulation model, simulate and analysis typical operating conditions of the hybrid crane system, analysis the fuel efficiency of the system by comparing the simulation results, and propose optimization Program of control strategy.
